Image Resolution checklist for nonprofessionals
- Use the original without with no filters, edits, crops etc. All the filters, apps and cropping will decrease the resolution of your photo immensely
- If your photos were taken by a professional photographer, ask them to provide you with the high-resolution files- they typically don’t provide the hi-res files for free
- Don’t use a photo from Facebook, Instagram etc. These images have been significantly downsized & compressed. As the poster of the photo to email the original
- Photos that have been sent to you via text will not be usable for printing.
- You can also select the Photo resolution check and enhancement option. Photoshop’s “Super Zoom” filter and other techniques will be utilized
