Photo Collage Canvas: Bring Your Favourite Stories Together
Some memories belong together. A wedding portrait means more beside the first dance, a travel photograph brings back the trip when you see the people and places around it, and a family picture becomes part of a much bigger story.
A custom photo collage canvas gives those photographs a place together. Instead of leaving them in separate albums on your phone, turn a collection of favourites into one canvas you can see every day. Canvas Palette’s collage builder lets you choose 2–70 photos, eight canvas sizes, seven layouts and black or white trim, with a preview you can adjust before ordering.

A travel photo collage that brings the journey home

The best travel stories are rarely told by the landmark photograph alone. Include the café you found by accident, the view from a ferry, a shared meal and the people who made the trip special. These small details help you remember what being there felt like.
Try a six-photo grid for a short getaway, or use more photos to follow a longer journey from place to place. A feature layout gives your favourite landscape extra room. Add a destination and year, such as “Our Italian Summer,” to make a personal travel canvas for your living room or office.
A family canvas collage for everyday moments

Family life happens between the formal photographs: baking with Dad, a hug from Grandma, a day at the beach and the moment everyone starts laughing. A family photo collage makes space for both milestones and ordinary days.
Choose one year, a reunion or several generations as your starting point. Mix group photographs with smaller moments so each person has room in the story. A canvas collage also makes a thoughtful gift for grandparents, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. You can add names, a date or a short message in your own words.
A wedding collage beyond the formal portrait

The rings, the flowers, a proud parent, a happy guest and the first dance all belong to your wedding story. A wedding photo collage canvas lets those moments sit alongside your favourite couple’s portrait.
Choose a feature photo on the left, right, top or bottom, then fill the surrounding spaces with supporting photographs. For an anniversary, bring early photographs and recent adventures together. The 27-photo heart layout is another way to celebrate the people and moments you love.
In memoriam: photographs that celebrate a life

A memorial photo collage can hold different parts of someone’s life: their younger years, favourite places, friendships, family and familiar everyday moments. One portrait may capture their face; several photographs can bring back their warmth, interests and sense of humour.
Start with a portrait you love, then add pictures that feel most like the person you remember. A name, meaningful dates or a simple phrase can finish the design. An in-memory canvas can be displayed at a celebration of life and kept at home afterwards. There is no need to fill every possible space—choose the photographs that matter to you.
A pet collage full of personality

One photograph rarely captures everything you love about a pet. There is the curious expression, the favourite sleeping spot, the muddy adventure and the look that always earns another treat.
Build a pet photo collage around a clear portrait and a few favourite activities. Follow a puppy or kitten growing up, celebrate several pets in one household, or create a remembrance canvas for a companion you miss. A name or familiar phrase can make the design feel even more personal.
Baby milestones, graduations and other chapters
Twelve photographs can tell the story of a baby’s first year. Graduation photos can sit beside school friendships and proud family moments. A birthday collage might bring together photographs from different decades. Choose a theme as a starting point, then make the words and photographs your own.
How to choose the number of photos and canvas size
Start with your story and the space where the canvas will hang. Two to six photographs give individual portraits more room. A larger collection can tell a longer story, but each image becomes smaller. For 20–70 photos, consider a larger canvas and favour clear close-ups over busy group photographs.
Available sizes are 8 × 10, 12 × 16, 16 × 20, 20 × 20, 24 × 24, 24 × 32, 24 × 36 and 36 × 36 inches. Rectangular sizes can be portrait or landscape. You can change the size in the builder and check how every crop adjusts.
Black or white trim: keep the photographs the focus
Choose white trim for bright spacing between photos or black trim for a darker border that gives each image definition. There are just two trim choices. Your collage stays on the front, and the wrapped canvas sides remain white.
Choose a gallery-wrapped canvas or add a black or gold floating frame. Standard varnish is included on every collage; there is no varnish option to select.
